Sweet Tucker

Adoption Success!! We are so happy to share this update. Sweet Tucker, one of three dogs rescued from the dark garage in suburban America, has found his forever home.

Tucker’s life has completely changed because a Good Samaritan took action to get him out of a neglectful home, a wonderful foster mom (Karen) took him in and nursed him back to health, and now a loving adopter has stepped up to give him the life he deserves. Tucker’s new family was not concerned about his age, whether he was perfectly healthy, or if he needed extra potty breaks as he recovers from a UTI. They were willing to work with him to get him happy and healthy, and were excited to welcome him into their lives. They wanted to help a dog in need, and have the time and means to give him a wonderful life. Tucker now has a retired mom, Valerie, to spend his day with. He gets regular walks, naps in his new comfy bed, and plenty of belly rubs. He enjoys socializing and visits from family and friends, including his pup cousin. He has toys to play with and grandkids to snuggle up with, and his life has changed so dramatically. His new mom, Valerie, shared this update:

Tucker is doing great, and is an awesome addition to our family. He is so smart and sweet. He knows his name, loves belly rubs, and tells us when he needs to go out and potty. He is off his hunger strike, and eating the food, taking naps in the sun, and just sleeping on the sofa, or in his bed….Did I mention he loves to sleep? He loves his bed and puts himself to bed at night. He loves his toys and will fetch and play alone or with his human family. He has acclimated great with our daughter’s rescue dog, our granddaughter, our neighbors and their pets when we go out walking. I have reached out numerous times to his foster mom Karen, and she has been great! We scheduled the follow up UTI test on Monday and will work with you team here locally on his upcoming dental work. The best decision we ever made was adopting Tucker! The sign was our granddaughter’s idea…She said she basically adopted Tucker because she told us to go to Worthy Dog! We are so blessed. The saying ‘who rescued who’ is so true!
