Adoption Success: Abby

ADOPTION SUCCESS! Only days after posting an update on our sweet little senior, Abby, from the garage cruelty case, her foster mom, Linda, has decided to adopt her and make her an official member of her pack. Linda is a seasoned foster mom and former paramedic who tends to take in older pups or those in need of medical attention and TLC. Linda contacted us soon after we shared that update and said she just couldn’t let Abby go. She shared this update:

This little dog just touched my heart. I tried to not become too attached, but I love senior dogs. My youngest, Ziva, is 6. Ellie is probably 13, she has heart problems. Ryker has been a foster for 14 months, and his dad called me Christmas Eve and said he was now mine. He’s 13+ and is blind. I guess I’m a sucker for the older pups with medical challenges. I still plan to foster for Worthy Dog but not become so attached… I’m at my limit.

Abby is one lucky pup, who finally has someone who loves and cares for her. After so many years of neglect, she could not be in better hands, and we are so happy for them both.
